Hello guys and welcome to Yinvestors. The purpose of this site is to help young Canadians learn about investing and how they can begin investing at a young age to achieve financial security and comfort throughout life. Investing does not have to be complicated, in-fact it can require very little work depending on how you wish go about it. Throughout the site, we explain everything from investing in individual stocks to practising the couch potato indexing investing style.

We began this site after we personally had a feeling of confusion when first entering the world of investing. There are pools of great sources out there, but most of it is not targeted towards the basic investment goals and situations of young investors. We’ve also heard from many people that they wish to begin investing, but simply are not sure how. This often leads to people putting their hope (and money) in the hands of a financial advisor. You do not need a financial advisor to manage your investments! On this site you will learn some ways to have a smart and well-balanced investment strategy and most importantly: how to get started!
